On verso there is an Art Gallery of Ontario label indicating that this work was to be included in an exhibition of Contemporary Ontario Native Art scheduled for the autumn of 1979. However, after an extended run of the Treasures of Tutankhamun exhibition, the project was abandoned due to scheduling conflicts.
