steel, bronze, wood, lacquer

Hamon (tempered pattern): bamboo-strip blinds

Koshirae (mountings): The 19th Century case of orange lacquer with gold dust ground, and areas with a raised chrysanthemum crest and mixed-metal mount, the tsuba, menuki and kashirae of similar design. Additional wood storage case for the sword.
