PROVENANCE
A Distinguished Private Collection, Vancouver


Against a gilt painted ground, the bowls are decorated with a continuous landscape featuring scholars and attendants among rocks and bamboo. Rendered in a grisaille palette with iron red highlights on the faces and hands of the figures. Each with a double square Qianlong mark in gilt to the base.
