Decorated in overglaze enamels, the Imperial style brushwasher of low proportions rising to a raised rim, the waist with key fret patterns below a band of ruyi heads on the shoulder, the interior with a large phoenix with spread wings amongst scrolling vines, and encircled by a puce band of lotus blooms. The base with a four-character Qianlong yuzhi mark within a stylized archaistic dragon border.
