Acquired in Tokyo by the consignor's great-grandfather, Thomas William Chisholm, July 1933 at Hiroshi Yoshida’s exhibition at the Mitsukoshi Department Store (Advertised in “The Japan Advertiser, Tokyo, Saturday, July 1, 1933”)
By descent to the present Private Collection, Vancouver Island
