Made after the original canvas of the same title, now in the collection of the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, this silkscreen print is from a series of hand printed contemporary art reproductions by Peter Markgraf produced in the late 1960s at the request of the Canada Council for the Arts. Each print was made after an original painting from the collection of the National Gallery of Canada or from the inventory of the Art Bank of Canada at the time. 200 copies of this work were produced and were never intended to be signed.

Créée d’après la toile originale du même titre, qui se trouve dans la collection du Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, cette sérigraphie fait partie d’une collection de reproductions d’œuvres d’art contemporain imprimées à la main par Peter Markgraf vers la fin des années 1960 à la demande du Conseil des Arts du Canada.
