Signals Gallery, London. A Decade of Physichromies by Carlos Cruz-Diez, September 23 - October 23, 1965

The complete set of five manipulable screenprints in colors, on light wove paper and clear acetate, with full margins, contained in the original in cardboard sleeves, with title page, colophon, and artist's texts, all contained in the original card portfolio box with printed title.

Carlos Cruz-Diez (1923–2019) was a Venezuelan kinetic and optical artist, renowned for his exploration of colour and perception. A key figure in the Op Art movement, Cruz-Diez developed groundbreaking theories on the independence of colour from form, notably in his series such as Physichromies, Chromointerference, and Transchromies. His works focus on the dynamic interaction between light, colour, and the viewer's movement, creating immersive experiences where colour becomes a living, ever-changing entity.

This portfolio was published for the 1965 show "A Decade of Physichromies by Carlos Cruz-Diez" at Signals Gallery, London, UK.
