Dressed in an elegant and colourful robe, the elderly lady with grey hair and gentle face while wearing a fancy headdress and holding a ruyi sceptre in her left hand, all the while standing on an elaborately tiered rainbow coloured base.
Albert Earnest Newberry was the owner of Newberry Antiques, a popular antique store on Fort Street in Victoria from the 1940s to the late 1960s.
