The original owner of this work and others in this session was noted photographer John de Visser. De Visser’s work can be found in the National Gallery of Canada and the Library and Archives Canada Photographic Archive, as well as the numerous award winning books de Visser authored. His work could also be found on the walls of David Blackwood’s studio, as the friendship that the two artists shared spanned over 30 years.
